It is our desire to come alongside you as parents to offer our assistance and support as you do the most important work of your life – raising a godly generation. We hope to assist you with friendships that will draw them, Outreach that will grow them, Bible lessons that will challenge them, and prayers that will entrust them to the God who sets them apart for His work.
We have several programs designed to meet their needs and assist you in your work as parents.
1. Nursery – We have two nurseries that are available for both infants and toddlers.
o The infant nursery (6weeks to steady walkers) provides a loving nurturing experience that will set the tone for the future. They will learn about God’s love through loving-care in a safe environment.
o The toddler nursery (steady walkers to 4 years of age) provides a safe loving environment with times of teaching. The 2 and 3 year olds have an age appropriate Sunday School class, Children’s Church and a Wed. night program. All of which are a great introduction God’s love and bible stories.
2. Sunday school – Sunday mornings at 9:30am – Here we hope to teach your child the deep truths of being in relationship with Him as we share Bible stories and principles appropriate for each age group. We encourage the children to participate in our Family Bible Memory Plan which gives them a list of Scripture passages, catechism questions and Bible facts for each grade to memorize. We have classes for children 2 year old and up.
3. Children’s Church – Sunday mornings during the worship service – We offer an age-appropriate message for children from 2 years old through 2nd grade designed to help them learn to participate in worship with adults.
4. Children’s Choir – Wednesday evenings at
5:30pm – We teach them the fundamentals of singing and offering praise to God while giving them opportunities to share their musical gifts with the rest of the church.
5. K*LIVE – Wednesday evenings from
6:30-7:30 – K*LIVE stands for “Kids Living In View of Eternity” and is our evangelistic outreach for the children. We bring in children from surrounding neighborhoods who are often unchurched and introduce them to Jesus Christ through recreation, singing, crafts, hands-on activities, and Bible lessons. Our covenant children help by having fun, making friends, and learning from the Bible stories alongside our neighbors.
6. Sports Camp – Every summer for four days we turn Grace into a sports camp. We offer clinics in basketball and soccer while encouraging the children with praise and worship in the mornings and Bible lessons at
noon designed to teach them more about Christ and His love for them. This year Sports Camp is June 8th - 11th.
I hope that you will find what you need to assist you in rearing your children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. If you have any questions feel free to email me at lmpressley@hotmail.com
Sincerely.
