A team from GPC will travel to
Columbus,
MS for a week of work and support of Palmer Children’s Home during the week of winter break for area schools. This trip is well suited for youth, adults and families so take this opportunity to be part of this
Mission team to work and spend time with the children of Palmer. This year being in
Mississippi during the winter months means cooler weather for outside and a chance to work in their green houses. Interested persons should see Ward Satterfield or Matt Carr for more information about this February 16 -20 team trip.

Mark your calendars now for the 2009
Mission Conference. It’s a chance to meet and visit with those ministries we support as well as meet new ministries. What a wonderful time to praise God for the work He is doing through his people.
This year we are excited to welcome Rev Morgan “Mo” Leverett as our speaker and leader through the conference. Mo Leverett is an accomplished singer, song writer, effective teacher, urban theologian, an inspirational speaker and storyteller. Mr. Leverett is Senior Pastor of
CenterPoint
Church in
Tallahassee,
Florida a center city PCA congregation dedicated to serving
Tallahassee in WORD and DEED. Prior to joining CenterPoint, Mo was founder and Executive Director of the Desire Street Ministries in
New Orleans, a revitalization ministry of the challenging Desire Housing Project in the upper 9th ward.
